39 Free Christmas Tree Coloring Pages to Print

39 free printables Any paper size 300 dpi No sign-up

Twelve trees drawn on their own, and the rest with somebody hanging things on them: a raccoon in a sweater, a squirrel in a Santa hat, a mouse with a paintbrush, an elf holding a palette. One is not a tree at all but a stack of presents piled into the shape of one, with a bow on top where the star belongs. The branches are the reason these work: they are drawn as open tiers rather than a solid triangle, so every bauble sits in its own space.

These printable Christmas tree coloring pages are free, with no account and no watermark. Every drawing is a 300 dpi PDF and prints on any paper size your printer takes, US Letter and A4 included. Print the Christmas tree coloring sheets in November and you will get them back covered in glitter by December.

Printing your Christmas tree coloring pages

Are these Christmas tree coloring pages free?

Yes. Open the PDF and print. No account, no email address, no watermark across the branches, and no cap on the number of copies.

Which tree is simplest for a small child?

The plain tiered tree with a star and a handful of baubles. It is six or seven closed shapes and nothing else. The one with beaded garlands and candy canes, and the snowy landscape with icicles, take considerably longer.

Why are so many animals decorating the trees?

Because a tree alone is a shape, and a squirrel on a stepladder is a story. Children color the animal first and the tree second every time, and it keeps them at the table longer.

Is the pile of presents a mistake?

No. The boxes are stacked into a cone with a bow at the top, so it reads as a tree made of parcels. It is the busiest sheet here and the one adults tend to take.

What paper size should I print on?

Whichever is in the printer. More settings in the print dialog lists them, US Letter at 8.5 by 11 inches and A4 at 210 by 297 millimeters included. A tree is worth printing large if your printer goes past those.

Can I print a set for a classroom?

Yes. A December craft table, a card-making afternoon, a display for the corridor. Print as many as the room needs without asking. Selling the files is the only thing off limits.
