61 Free Fall Coloring Pages to Print
Autumn without the Halloween part: leaves coming down, acorns being hoarded, small animals in knitted scarves getting on with the season. Fall and autumn coloring pages are the same thing here, and this is the page for both. If you want pumpkins with faces, those live on the Halloween pages. This is the quieter end of October.
Click any drawing to print it. The sheet opens in a new tab and the print dialog does the rest, with every paper size your printer offers. Prefer a batch? Tap + on each drawing you want, then print the whole pile in one go from your pile.

Sixty-one sheets, and they split about evenly. Half have somebody in them, animal or child. The other half is the season with nobody in it at all: a cabin among the trees, a stone bridge over a stream, a bakery and a bookshop on a leafy street, baskets of apples and corn, jars lined up on a shelf.
Every drawing is a free printable PDF and prints at 300 dpi on any paper size, US Letter and A4 included. No sign-up, no watermark.
What you will find on this page
Autumn here starts with animals in knitwear. A squirrel in a scarf among the leaves, another in a sweater with a rake, a fox in a hat reading a book called Autumn Tales by candlelight, a bear on a bench with a steaming cup. Three hedgehogs sit among pumpkins and gourds. A fox, a chipmunk and an owl gather around a campfire.
Then it leaves them behind. Seven sheets are rooms with nobody in them: a living room with the fire lit and a cup left on the arm of a chair, a bedroom with a plaid shirt on a hook, an armchair with a sweater and an open book. Seven more are places: two cabins, a stone bridge in a park, a pumpkin patch under a night sky, a mushroom house with a face on it.
Eight are still lifes, which is unusual for a coloring page. Baskets of apples, corn and grapes. Jars on a shelf. A pair of rubber boots in the leaves. Birds on a window sill.
Four have a child in them, raking, jumping in a pile, picking apples.
Easy fall coloring pages for toddlers
The single objects are the ones to print first. One acorn. One apple. One maple leaf. A child of three can color a leaf in three strokes and be delighted with it, and a leaf is forgiving because no color is wrong in October. The child jumping into the leaf pile is the other easy one, because most of the sheet is leaves and they can be any color at all.
Cozy scenes for a long afternoon
The busier sheets are the reason adults print this page. The fox reading by candlelight, the shelf of jars, the bakery on its leafy street, all of them drawn with enough small shapes to keep somebody occupied for an evening. The leaves themselves have veins drawn in, which is a slower job than it looks and the reason there is a whole page of them on the leaf coloring pages.
The still lifes are the ones worth framing. A basket of fruit on a checkered cloth, colored carefully, is the only drawing here that stops looking like a coloring page once it is finished.
Where autumn leads
The pumpkins here are uncarved and stay that way. When you want faces on them, the pumpkin coloring pages and the halloween coloring pages take over. At the far end of the season the thanksgiving coloring pages pick up the harvest, and the winter coloring pages keep the same animals once the leaves are gone.
What to do with them once they are colored
Cut out a dozen leaves, punch a hole in each and thread them into a garland for a banister. It costs nothing and it stays up from September to November.
A colored leaf also works flat under a glass on the table, or taped to a window where the afternoon light comes through the paper. And the scarecrow sheet, colored and cut, makes a good door sign for a bedroom that has decided it is autumn.
Printing your fall coloring pages
Are these fall coloring pages really free?
Yes. No account, no email address, and nothing written across the leaves. Download the PDF and print it as many times as the season demands.
What paper size should I print on?
Whichever you own. The browser's print dialog hides the list under More settings: US Letter at 8.5 by 11 inches, A4 at 210 by 297 millimeters, and everything else your printer knows. All of it comes out at 300 dpi.
Are these the same as the Halloween pages?
No, and that is deliberate. Not one pumpkin here has a face cut into it, on any of the sixty-one sheets. Leaves, acorns, mushrooms, squirrels in knitted scarves, cabins in the woods. If you want jack-o'-lanterns and ghosts, those live on the Halloween pages.
How much detail is in a leaf?
More than you would expect. The veins are drawn in rather than suggested, so a single maple leaf is thirty or forty small areas. That is what makes these work for an adult and still leaves the acorns simple enough for a toddler. The jars and the baskets go further again, and are the slowest sheets on the page.
Can I use these in my classroom?
Yes. Autumn units, leaf identification, seasonal displays: print a class set and you do not need to ask us. Selling the files or reposting them elsewhere is the only thing off limits.
What kind of paper works best?
Thin veins hold up better on paper with some weight. Copy paper is fine for pencils; for markers or a wet brush, 120 gsm stops the lines spreading into each other.
